Jeny has been a nurse since 2000. She spent her first ten years of healthcare working in labor & delivery, hematology/oncology, cardiology, behavioral health, and telephone triage for veterans.
She decided that she wanted to have more of a say in how patients were cared for. So, she completed her master's in nursing and became a certified Family Nurse Practitioner in 2010. She opened up an insurance based primary care clinic in Bartlett, TN. She cared for approximately 1800 patients over five and a half years. Due to insurance companies deciding on when and how much they would reimburse for her services, she decided to merge her clinic with a hospital group. She ended up leaving that group when she was asked to do unethical things that she did not feel was in the patient's best interest.
She spent the next several years helping grow a new part of a business that provided physicals via a van that she staffed with an EMT. She realized that unethical things were being done so parted her ways with the company. She spent the next several years working at primary care clinics, as an Assistant Director of Nursing for group homes for those with an intellectual disability and for a chiropractor doing federal worker's comp.
Her husband started his own personal training studio in Memphis, TN and asked her to start her own clinic again as he knew that was where her passion was. She knew that she no longer wanted to fight with the insurance companies so decided to offer a concierge clinic. She offered Botox, Fillers, IV Infusions, Urgent Care and Primary Care on a part time basis.
One of her son's has been involved in competitive gymnastics since he was 3 years old and asked her if they could move 6 hours away to Knoxville, TN so he could train at a different gym. He felt that gym could help him be able to compete at the NCAA college level. Jeny called her husband who had never been a fan of Memphis, and he said, "Let's move". Her husband sold his personal training studio and Jeny got a job as a Facility Administrator of a dialysis clinic.
Jeny and her husband have 7 children between them and 3 grandchildren. One of Jeny's biological sons was diagnosed with Autism at age 5. They also adopted their daughter who endured 8 years of trauma before they adopted her. She also was diagnosed with Autism and way too many other diagnoses. She sees just about every specialist that there is. Jeny realized that Western Medicine was not able to help their daughter. She was introduced to a supplement company that focused on the gut microbiome by a fellow Family Nurse Practitioner. She decided to give them a try as nothing else was helping their daughter. They worked and Jeny was able to get their daughter off of two mood stabilizers, an anti-depressant, and her ADHD prescription because of these supplements. That sparked her interest in learning more about the gut microbiome. Jeny decided to complete her Functional Health Certification so she could help their daughter to truly heal and also help her patients.
Her husband and her are both entrepreneurs at heart. They both struggle when working for others and not being able to improve things for people. So they felt called to Absolute Health.

Jeny provides urgent care appointments at Absolute Health which are 30 minutes long and can be in person or via telehealth.
Urgent care is for those who are suffering with symptoms of a bladder infection, sinus infection, ear infection, or even a sore throat.

Jeny provides primary care appointments for newborns on up at Absolute Health which are 30 minutes long. They can be in person or via telehealth.
Primary Care is for your yearly physical or for diagnoses such as high blood pressure, diabetes, high cholesterol, acne, eczema, depression, anxiety. migraines, etc.

Jeny provides Botox at Absolute Health. Botox can relax the muscles on areas of the face which cause wrinkles associated with facial expressions or facial pain.
Areas that she treats are the area between your eyebrows, forehead, crow's feet, area above your top lip, jaw for TMJ, and scalp for migraines.

Fillers can smooth out facial folds and wrinkles, add volume to the lips, and contour facial fillers that have lost their volume and fullness due to aging, sun exposure, illness, etc.
